UK-based Psychotherapist
Hold This Space Therapy
Compassionate CBT and psychological therapy for people navigating life's challenges, health changes and caring for those they love.
Sometimes life changes in ways we never expected.
You may be living with anxiety or depression, adjusting to a long-term health condition, recovering from trauma, or trying to support a child who is struggling. Perhaps you've found yourself feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or no longer recognising the person you used to be.
At Hold This Space Therapy, I offer a warm, compassionate space where you don't have to carry these challenges on your own. Together, we'll make sense of what's happening, understand what's keeping you stuck, and develop practical tools to help you move forward with greater confidence and self-compassion.
I'm Chelsea Jackson, a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT), Registered Mental Health Nurse, and NHS Paediatric Psychological Therapist with over 13 years of experience supporting children, young people, adults and families. My specialist NHS work with children and young people living with long-term health conditions has given me a deep understanding of how physical health, emotional wellbeing and family life are closely connected—an understanding that shapes every aspect of my private practice.
Who I work with
I support:
Adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, burnout or the emotional impact of long-term health conditions.
Teenagers who need support with anxiety, low mood, emotional regulation, trauma or adjusting to life's challenges.
Parents and carers who are supporting a child through emotional or physical health difficulties and need space to care for themselves as well as their family.
My approach
Therapy is never one-size-fits-all. While I primarily use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), I tailor each session to your individual experiences, strengths and goals.
Whether we're working with anxiety, trauma, chronic illness or the pressures of caring for someone you love, my aim is to create a safe and supportive space where you feel heard, understood and empowered to make meaningful, lasting change.
You don't have to have everything figured out before you reach out. Wherever you are in your journey, I'm here to help you take the next step.
